Tlayuda

Tlayuda is a traditional Oaxacan dish. It is made with a large tortilla that has been baked or fried until it starts to get crispy. 

INGREDIENTS

Ready Foods Beans

Large Tortillas

Avocado

Hot Sauce or Salsa

Pickled Onions

SERVING SUGGESTIONS 

Once the tortilla is nice and crispy, top it with beans that are lightly smashed and spread onto the tortilla, pickled onions, shredded lettuce, pepitas, cheese and salsa or hot sauce. 

Let this topped tortilla be as healthy or decadent as your customers want. It can easily be made vegetarian or vegan.
