Celebrating Mom At Home

Over 87 million Americans usually dine out to celebrate Mom on Mother’s Day. While this won’t be happening this year, there are still plenty of ways you can help your customers honor the ladies in their lives. Besides food, offer fun add-ons to delivery orders, like cleaning supplies so that the kids can clean the house for Mom while she enjoys breakfast in bed. Diners have been craving their long lost brunch spots, so use this as an opportunity to let your breakfast game really shine. This is the time to bring back those favorite morning dishes your customers are missing.

For the moms that still have kids at home, create a meal kit that can be picked up or delivered and the kids can finish prepping at home and serve to Mom. Be sure to include extra touches like flowers or mimosas in the kit to really make it a one-stop shop. Offer breakfast burritos kits, toast kits, or a smoothie bowl kit as easy options that the kids can conquer.

For the large, extended family that usually gets together on Mother’s Day to celebrate all their matriarchs, offer a group discount. Allow families to place multiple delivery orders that are sent to each house so that they can celebrate virtually together on Zoom while they all enjoy the same dishes. Offer options like quiche, biscuits and Sausage Gravy, fresh fruit, lox, or a pan of sweet rolls.

For the adult kids that are out of the house, help them pamper mom from afar by creating kits that Mom can enjoy later. Perhaps it’s a ‘relax kit’, complete with your house jam, fresh bread and tea. Or maybe it’s a movie kit box complete with batch cocktails and sweet and salty appetizers.

Perfect for the lady who loves food adventures, put together a complete cheese board kit that customers can personalize by sending it to Mom with a special note and flower. We love adding our sweet and salty Bacon Marmalade to a cheese and charcuterie boards.

Marco’s items can be found through distributors in several states, including Colorado, California, Arizona, New Mexico, Idaho, Nebraska and more!
