Ready Foods Achieves Bronze Certification: A Step Towards a Greener Future

We are proud to announce that Ready Foods has been awarded the Bronze status by the Colorado Green Business Network, marking our first certification in sustainability. This achievement is a testament to our commitment to environmental stewardship and our continuous efforts to improve our practices. The Colorado Green Business Network provides us with a framework to follow as we strive for excellence in sustainability.

Our journey towards sustainability began by studying our usage of our waste, water, and energy usage. This data-driven approach allows us to identify areas for improvement and set actionable goals. We are dedicated to reducing our energy consumption and waste and have already initiated PPE recycling programs to minimize our environmental footprint.

Introducing Our Green Team

The formation of our new Green Team in 2024 is a significant milestone for Ready Foods. This dedicated group of individuals from all departments helps us find opportunities to improve, test ideas and manage projects. Plus, we are learning from each other how to be more sustainable at home too!

Achieving Bronze certification is not just about recognition; it's about the value we bring to our partners and customers. "Certification for Ready Foods means we are held accountable to a standard and now have a framework to follow. This is important as we communicate our value to our partners," says a member of our sales team. This certification helps us connect with mentors and resources throughout the state, bolstering our efforts as we work to accomplish significant projects.

As we celebrate this milestone, we are already looking towards the future. Ready Foods is not content with resting on our laurels. We are actively pursuing higher certifications and continue to innovate in our sustainability practices. Our goal is to lead by example in the food manufacturing industry, proving that business success and environmental responsibility can go hand in hand.

Join us in celebrating this achievement and stay tuned for more updates as we continue on our path to a greener, more sustainable world.
